La Playa and your information
This notice covers La Playa’s website and the enquiries you send us. You can contact us at info@laplaya.pe or Av. Riviera del Mar 4, Los Órganos, Piura, Peru.
La Playa, RUC 10078623069, is responsible for the processing of personal data described in this notice.
When you contact us
We use your details to answer your enquiry and discuss the stay or transfer you request. The form asks for your first name, last name, email, phone, country and message. Dates, villa, guest count and transfer preferences are optional.
Required fields are needed to submit the form; you can also email us directly. Formspree processes form messages. We use a Combell mailbox and Microsoft software to manage email. Sending an enquiry does not confirm a reservation. Please do not include full payment-card details.
Optional website statistics
Only when you select “Allow” do we load Google Analytics to understand which pages are visited and improve the website. Google receives page, browser and device information, cookie identifiers and technical connection data.
With the same permission, we measure clicks to check availability or email us, enquiries whose delivery is confirmed by the form, and the general source of visits from recognised search engines or social networks. These clicks do not measure confirmed bookings. We do not send message content or the full address of the referring page.
If you do not choose or select “Decline”, we do not load Analytics or send measurement signals to Google. You can continue using the website and check availability. With your permission, we recognize only predefined campaign codes in our Instagram and Facebook links. We do not send form fields, other URL query parameters or fragments to Analytics; advertising features remain disabled.
We save your choice in this browser for up to 180 days. The _ga and _ga_* cookies are configured for up to 180 days without renewal on each visit. Separately, Google Analytics user and event data retention is set to 14 months, without resetting user data retention when there is new activity. Google deletes expired data in its monthly processing cycle. This setting does not affect standard aggregated reports.
You can change your choice through “Cookie preferences” at the foot of the website. Withdrawal stops measurement, removes accessible Analytics cookies on this domain and reloads the page. It does not retroactively delete data already sent.
Services and international processing
Vercel hosts the website and Sanity supplies content and media. They receive technical connection data when delivering pages and images. Formspree handles forms in the United States and other locations where it operates. Combell manages our mailbox. These services, Microsoft and Google may process data outside Peru under their service and data protection terms.
The availability button opens Little Hotelier’s booking service. Information entered there is processed through that service. This notice does not replace the provider’s privacy information or describe every aspect of the accommodation’s operations.
How long information is kept
We review enquiry emails that did not lead to a booking each month and delete those older than 12 months after the last contact. Booking correspondence, disputes and legal retention obligations are handled separately.
Formspree’s Submission Archive is disabled. The service processes each message for delivery and retains technical data needed to operate, secure the service and meet legal obligations. Our providers’ technical logs and recovery copies follow their own retention cycles. Deleting an email from the mailbox does not immediately delete every technical copy.
Your rights
Email info@laplaya.pe to request access, correction, deletion or objection to the processing of your information, or to withdraw consent where applicable. We may ask for information needed to verify your identity and protect your data.
You can also contact Peru’s National Authority for Personal Data Protection. We will update this notice when the practices described change.
